What is an 'Akashic Record Readings?'

This has been the most common question that I have come across. I know when I first heard about Akashic records, I was intrigued but at the time I was scared away from diving deeper. I turned more to tarot or oracle card readings, as they were part of my practice when I was seeking clarity or guidance. When it comes to tarot and oracle readings, it is the readers intuition and interpretation, sometimes spirit makes itself known.

Let's start with 'what are the Akashic Records?', think of it as your soul's library, every experience your soul has had in this earthly plane. (sorry no galactic adventures here) Your records are protected by your Lords and Masters, only you can grant access to your records, and they only share information that will be for your greater good. I access the records through prayer and then once they are open, you are able to ask questions regarding your situation/event. One important thing to note, you have to use your legal name in order to access your records. So let's say everyone calls me Janey, but my license/birth certificate said Janice Loretto Abigail Lopez, this is the name I would give the reader. Now if legally changed my name to Janey Lopez, then this is what I would use in the reading.

Some find creating questions daunting, I would start by exploring areas in your life that you would like clarity or guidance. Questions that are 'yes or no', will not yield clear responses, an example would be "Should I quit my job?" this question will not get you a response as it goes against our free will. Now if we reframe it "what am I to learn from this job?" or "are there other jobs/experiences I should explore that will help fuel my soul?" Think of things that will help your souls earthly experience, what do you need to heal? move forward? let go? Your masters are there to help your soul reach it's highest potential.

The energy in an Akashic Record reading is very unique, the vibration is high and pure. (The shift is pretty magical) The information passed down from your Masters can be expressed using physical sensations, images or even words on a piece of paper. If there is an area of your life where you feel unclear or confused, a reading would help you gain knowledge and information that can help you sort through your thoughts. Even just talking in a reading helps shift the energy.

I will be honest, I really didn't think it would be any different than other readings, I thought as long as my guides and angels could communicate with me that's all I needed. The difference here is that our guides are always with us, but our Masters and Lords are only accessible in our Akashic records, which is a bit harder to access. Most are trained and do it through prayer(thats me), some are able to access through meditation. When I had my first experience with the Akashic Records, I was fascinated with how the energy felt, I've worked with energy most of my life and this vibration was so different to me. (Different in the most beautiful way) I can honestly say I felt the shift in and around me, I was physically in the same space but spiritually/energetically everything had changed.

In the end our soul guides us, I was guided to learn how to read Akashic Records and I am grateful I followed the call. I believe my teacher said "everyone gets called, few listen and even fewer follow through."
